Cory Erickson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Cory purchased Career Momentum in 2012 after a 30 plus year career in industry, primarily in the Human Resources (HR) field.  He held progressively responsible HR positions throughout his career working for Hormel (Fort Dodge, IA), Maytag (Newton, IA), WE Energies (Milwaukee, WI), Lakeshore, Inc. (Kingsford, MI), and Thermo Fisher Scientific (Madison, WI).  His last role with Thermo Fisher was Director, Human Resources for the molecular spectroscopy business unit ($250M) where he had worked for 20 years.  ​Cory's responsibilities for Career Momentum include day-to-day business operations as well as business development. Cory is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and is a Senior Certified Professional from SHRM. Cory is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Wisconsin American Red Cross and for REACH-A-CHILD.

Laura Ingalls Grothey, SPHR

Laura Ingalls brings 20 years experience in recruiting and senior HR management to her work as a talent management consultant. She has advised senior management in both Fortune 500 and privately held companies in planning and implementing recruitment excellence and selection strategies for all level positions up to senior level executives. ​Laura has assisted displaced workers by conducting outplacement workshops and networking meetings and working one-on-one to help individuals develop their resume, target job searches, learn networking skills, prepare for interviews, and negotiate job offers. Laura earned a B.A. in Professional Communication at Alverno College, is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute, and is a Certified Development Dimension International Facilitator (DDI). Laura is an active member of the Greater Madison Area Society of Human Resources and the national SHRM. 



Anne Roets

Senior Talent Management Consultant

Anne Roets has 25 years of executive coaching, career counseling and organizational change management consulting experience.  She was the Wisconsin Managing Consultant for a global consulting firm; managing operations and delivery of programs that helped organizations select, develop, retain and transition employees. She has coached individuals from diverse industries, cultures and countries through successful career transition. Over the course of her career, Anne also served as Workforce Development Director for a nonprofit, a marketing copywriter and a business broker.  She holds a BA in English from UW-Milwaukee and an MA-Adult Education in organizational development and curriculum design from Alverno College.  

Bob Rasins

Senior Talent Management Consultant

Bob has a genuine passion for helping people develop, grow and succeed.  He has over 30 years of executive business leadership experience in the consumer, retail, and wholesale industries.  He has held various management positions including Chief Operating Officer and Division Vice President leading sales, human resources, marketing and administrative support teams of over 3000 people. He has personally recruited, hired, coached and developed hundreds of managers and senior executive leaders and has championed numerous key strategic business initiatives.  Most gratifying for Bob is his talent development work including  coaching executives and emerging leaders, leading employee engagement and organizational values efforts, implementing leadership development initiatives, and developing award winning customer sales and service relationship programs.​Bob has learned over the years that even the best business strategies cannot be successfully implemented without having the right leadership and well engaged teams in place.  He works with organizations and individuals at all levels to assess, identify and develop business, organizational, leadership, cultural, and relationship skills, that will drive high performance and produce sustainable results.  Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication from Northern Illinois University.  He is an avid golfer (with poor results), a Badger football fanatic, loves the culinary arts and is a family man to his wife, his daughters and the golden retrievers.  In the community, Bob has worked with The United Way, WPGA, Easter Seals, and the Wisconsin Education Decathlon. 



Tom Drury

Tom's business career includes more than twenty five years in managerial and executive leadership positions in all aspects of human resources and quality management.  He has extensive experience in recruitment and staffing, career counseling, executive coaching, employee relations, organizational consulting, developing human resources strategy, talent management and business systems improvement.Tom has held senior leadership roles in private and publicly owned companies in the manufacturing, public utility, and services industries.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UW-Madison.  Tom also has experience in the public and non-profit sector areas of employment and training, and counseling.  He has served for twenty five years as a member of the Portage Police and Fire Commission.
